Who else would love to play with someone like him? I know a lot of you probably don't like him and don't like the way he gets pissed at his teammates but honestly I would love and not being sarcastic here.. I would enjoy every second I got to play with someone like him.
@Persistance55He’s probably the best in game leader in the ALGS. His game sense is incredible. What I only hate about Hal (and other pros) are their toxic communities. When Hal says nerf this gun/legend his whole community becomes an echo chamber of his opinions even if some of it are wrong. 🙂
If I were to play with content creators, it would have to be iTemp, Jankz, or Sooxfar. How chill they are and their view of the game being just a game is how I play as well. Can’t handle the consistent stream of negativity and complaining with some of the pros.
Would prefer itemp, jankz, Ragtagg, or Beanbag. First two for what @Cheese9Man said, Rag and Bean are chill too but their hilarious, so even if it's a losing match I least won't feel frustrated that we lost.
@HappyHourSumwur I watched him play live one night recently and it was painful, his witterings was self serving and contradictory. While he may be a very good player, he also seemed to be heavily reliant on his team, following them almost every time from a strategic point of view. I may be wrong but his team mates were more impressive in their play and movement. As a team they had a well worked out strategy.
I would not aspire to play with him, but his teammates yes please.
I do not normally watch streamers but his name was mentioned here on the forum so I went and had a look.
Thanks for your responses. I don't mind the yelling as long as I feel it comes from a place of wanting to win and not just pure toxicity. I can see people getting turned off by Hal but to me as long as I feel like my teammate isn't attempting to just be toxic and actually cares to win then I don't care at all. I've had toxic teammates who are just toxic to be toxic and that can make the game not fun. I feel Hal is misunderstood and the reason why Reps has been with him for so long is even though he gets annoyed at Hal I feel like he understands and doesn't take it personally. I think the new TSM squad is a pretty solid combo. Verhulst is calm collected and a perfect balance to Hal. Reps is kind of in the middle.
I have to agree with @Cheese9Man and @jaygates879 I would rather prefer playing with iTemp, Jankz, Sooxfar or Ragtagg - sweaty chill game play with loads of fun. Some of the pros are just to toxic for me to handle, don't care how good they are. I even started watching Lulu at some point after she started the non toxic thing, and she progressed immensely after that.
Hal is not so much my slice of cake.
However I would love to play with Lulu and Zylbrad.
Both are great players, Lulu an anchor of skill and Zylbrad is just hilarious.
I don't care about how he "treats his teammates" in a competitive setting tbh. If he goes too far or his teammates object to his utterances, they need to tell him. We have no idea what goes on offline, if he apologizes if he's gone too far, of if they just know it's all said in that competitive setting and are okay with that. It doesn't matter what Twitch chat, Twitter, or people on the net think. I mean, he and Snipe are still friends despite he frequently called Snipe an "idiot" and whatever during tournaments.
I would prefer to play with GuhRL though, if I had to play with one of these. She's just always super positive, nice, and of course really good at the game.

Except that it’s the main reason why your lifeline and Caustic got nerfed to ground because of their constant crying pressuring the devs on every social platform that they’re on. 🤣

Its probably fine for the two on his team, but he is an influencer and a myyyyriad of kids and others copy that behavior, just look at the crying on the forum about hate speech bans and what not.
