First, why leave as soon as you're knocked down and both teammates are still alive? Are people really that impatient or are they embarrassed/mad they got knocked down?
Second, does reporting people who leave early do anything? Do repeat offenders get any kind of punishment or is this issue pretty much ignored?
This is a really fun game but it's getting really annoying to be down a teammate because they left the match.
First the report thing, no its fully legal to break the game when you want to or need to, in ranked there is leavers penalty so its still legal but you get smacked in the face and the people left get a bonus with protection against negative score.
There are several reasons people are leaving on down right now:
1) Protect K/D .... for some strange reason the death dont count on the K/D statistic if youre downed and you insta quit before youre boxed.
2) Living for the hotdrop, want continous action - down == re-queue as fast as possible
3) Bad landing and start, and because of this they just want to get back into action as situation dictates a 5-10 minute wait if youre licky enough to get respawned.
4) Parents/Sposes/Kids been giving said person hell (and just one more and ill...) and they do a wth ill just do it now.
There is a life outside of the game too that influence things, so grasp your inner WOOSHA and just enjoy the people who stay š

If someone leave you in ranked and you stay alive for long enough for them to time out of the match, they doing you a service as you get RP protection for that game. The no death is a reference to pubs, and K/D protection, its a bug in the game that lets you have an artificial high K/D.
I never seen early leaver as a report option.
