Legend Selection & JM Assignment

@Lord_Scorpion34 I didn’t even see this thread. It’s only random if nobody chooses a legend. Most of the time it’ll still be the last guy tho.

The last person to actively choose is the JM.

@Lord_Scorpion34 Don't click on any legend on character selection screen, let the game auto lock for you. Otherwise you have higher chances of being a jumpmaster.

@Koochi-Q Is picking order random too? Or is it based off something?

@Lord_Scorpion34 That is random too yes. It might have something to do with who connects first but I doubt it cause if you play premades you don’t stay in the same formation for every new game.

Also, I can be damn near 95% sure if it was due to who connects first I should be the first to connect most times as I’m seemingly right near my data centre as I can get ping as low as 3ms in apex (have even seen 0ms on few occasions in end game) but overall I get 10ms, while I know that my teammates don’t live in same city or even country.

Other piece of evidence... I’ve gotten placed in the 3rd or 2nd slot when my teammates didn’t even connect so I first saw grey, then me (or grey) and grey again (or me).

@Koochi-Q Party leader has an effect on who is JM. If ferrari connects to me I get JM almost every time. When I connect to him he gets it.

@hayhor Yup, but still random. It’s not always going to be the same person. It might lean more to the ‘host’ but not a certainty. Just like when I don’t pick and it’s mostly clubmate but sometimes still you or me.

@BaldWraithSimp If I'm Gibby, I usually get it whether I select my Legend or not lol
