Legends should call out their ults.

So far so good for Apex and the UI along with the amounts of pings available, however, given all that I feel Apex still lacks the ability to let their teammates know when their ult is ready.

As a follower and leader myself, I find it very stressful when a teammate has Ziplines, Jump-pads, Portals, ect available but don't call it out thus never using it since most people forget or wait for a "moment" before using it. Thus I either tell them to place it in x spot or just remind them so they know. (this issue mainly occurs for me in Ranked as I want to utilize everything my team has to our advantage.)

I think a good way to solve this issue is through voice lines saying something along, "Zipline ready!", "EMP good to go", "Ready to call a supply drop", ya know, so teammates can prepare for it and or give orders to teammates who prefer to follow.

  • @iBlockHead I main bang mostly and save the ult. I don’t use it as a means to damage players. I use it as a means to buy time.. maybe to keep a third party off us for a few seconds to either pop shields or run.

Now if I’m playing with higher skill players and I don’t feel we need it for an exit.. i use it for damage and creating chaos..
  • @iBlockHead Yea this would be good, and it has been asked for since S1... so it’ll likely come at the 2nd anniversary of apex XD.

At least they tell you when they’re using their ults tho xD
  • @iBlockHead They call it out when they are used, not when it is ready, but I would like a ping to say I will use my ultimate here. WHY HAVE YOU STILL NOT IMPLEMENTED OCTANE PINGING HIS OWN JUMPADS? HE CAN PING ENEMY JUMPADS, BUT NOT HIS OWN!
  • @CrazyPlays54 They'll probably implement it, eventually, pretty sure there's some unfortunate souls working there who have to go through all our spam to find things worth adding to the game lol

@Pretzelnutcake Most of the things that we asked for since the beginning would one have thought about even before us.

This game focuses on ‘teamwork’ but there’s no ‘my ult is (almost) ready’ <— 2 options, ‘(no) don’t shoot yet’, ‘ready to fight’ and stuff like that?! I would’ve had these options in my head even before the game would’ve launched :P
