Youngtreelet saw one of those pathfinder pop toys in a shop recently (last one) and didn't have enough money with her, but wanted to get it for yt, so she hid it in the shop. Went and got the money and came back a few days later to get it. Yt was delighted and won't unbox it 😉

When I was in elementary school, Scholastics Book (publishing company) had those book fairs. Had to hide those Pokemon manga books and Geronimo Stilton behind the other books. LMAO.
Also had a mini collection of Goosebumps books back then.

Needless to say, I have a huge collection of tree books, but when I was young I was a voracious reader, read a Hardy Boys a night untill I had the whole series done, then the 3 Investigators, then Nancy Drew, then the famous 5, then anything I could get my hands on. I really loved the Wilbur Smith books too.

I loved Animorphs lol. The show didn't live up to the book hype for me tho.
I still remember my classmate buying a whole set of Harry Potter books (but not the complete set since not all the books were finished yet) and everyone was so jealous. Now these books are just famous because of someone’s twitter account.
Glad that even though we’re all from different parts of the world, we shared a similar experience in the past through these books. Thanks for sharing everyone! Sorry OTC I kinda derailed the thread. I actually have one those Nessie plushies but it’s the small on my work desk. 😁
