New kind of ‘situation’

So this may be a relative short one from me. Did dailies... was champ... we were unfortunately in WE... Southern entrance to Harvester. My 2 teammates were as usual lvl 70-. I see fighting going on in harvester so I want to get in on it cause at that sorting center near harvester nothing’s going on...

I see a clear open trap near the bulkhead door and ping it. One teammate not even 5 seconds later walks into it... I have no idea how you could have missed it and still walk through that door. It was on the outside towards one side... so what did I do...

I left... (yes it was wrong... I dont do right). If a teammate is gonna walk into a clear trap, I’m not playing with ‘em. Not only that, the person had half their life ruined by that trap so that person didn’t even know what to do...

In another game was something weird that has happened in the past but not alot. Hotdrop in Water treatment with 2 squads. One a pred team who was champion and one other team. First team down, then I see the champion, she me. I fire first with havoc... I get downed when I let like 2/3 bullets rip by ab L-Star. I have no idea what happened, but while down the damage indicator is still displaying all the shots I took. 

Now if you get shot, the damage display shows you where. But it seems sometimes when I go against a pred or something I go down and the indicator still says that I take 5 shots. As if my time & enemy time is not aligned or that person’s bullets hit so fast that the indicator is delayed 

have you gotten this too?

    @Koochi-Q Half his life ruined by the trap and in essence the rest of that virtual one ruined by his abandoning team mate. He clearly deserved it though! 👿

    When predators get in ''the zone'' time slows down and might be perceived as fast by onlookers. The best counter to this is co.....ffeeeeee. 👮💡🧙☕

    As for the damage counter, I rarely look at it as it's never been very accurate since release.

    @apostolateofDOOM Indeed... despite that, I dont feel guilty. If he gets caught with his pants down by a very visible trap and doesn’t even quickly get out of it... what are the odds that person can even play a 1v1...

    Lolz how do you figure time slows down? XD the indicator doesn’t work properly for you? Never had that problem to be honest... I think. If I just know the direction/angle I’m good. I dont need pinpoint precision.

    But this was something else. It was like the rubberbanding and you dying without knowing what happened. But instead of the freeze you usually experience, everything was working fine, just the shots it seemed came before the game even registered it on time... weird

    @Koochi-Qi feel that , you are not alone .
    always there is something off about predators and this is coming from a player who is been playing this game since pre-season and i consider my self an average player .
    a lot of times what happened to you happened to me with exact description for some reason some of these guys , as said the time freeze for them i know he was joking but it feels like that .
    one time i was running into a pred and had a lvl 2 shield and this guy was sliding down the hill near bunker coming from the pit entrance i didn't see him at first but when he got close to me i noticed him this is where he started shooting while sliding down for some reason he literally killed me in a blink of an eye as it happened so fast that i wasn't able to understand what happened .
    he was using a havoc so i go to firing range and try with a havoc , even if land all head shots on stationery target u can never down anyone in a second ,

    @Koochi-Q Yes ai have this semi frequently I chalk it up to lag. But I just get insta dropped and can’t even respond.

    @DarthValtrex Yea figures, but the funny thing is... even tho it was a hotdrop, 3 teams in water treatment isn’t unusual. So for it to happen right when I face this champion 9999 kills (yes, that person had 9999 kills, such a cool number) predator while I saw others moving normally and no lag and suddenly die like that is suspicious :P

    But hey, what can you do about it.

    @MrCarri-X I know you hate it xD I can’t stand WE. If KC is third party Canyon, WE is WE-Snipe(rs) XD totally copyrighting that one 😜

    Only thing I get put up against in that map is snipers. Luckily it’s not all that new sniper (honestly forgot the name) anymore like in the beginning when it came out, but either half the lobby is in buildings hiding in Fracture or it’s sniping out in the open :P

    I like the Chaos of KC. You can get third party’d by the squad you third party in less than 20 seconds. Keeps your fingers on their toes! XD

    @Koochi-Q Just when I thought we could be friends you bring this up ☹️
    nah just kidding, but idk since sniper ammo got nerfed snipers aren't that much picked, but G7 Scout is still a very good long distance weapon, IMO, better than any sniper with a x3 optic
