I play tarkov, pubg, warzone or any number of others, r6 , and theres ALWAYS mic's used to win. Coordinating and callouts that can't be replaced by pings. I physically cannot rank up because I no longer can get teams with mic talkers. Its a damn joke. Every time i have with mics its fun and coordinated. Without is almost always a loss. And a bad loss.

Speaking to someone else in the background.5. A PS player playing with a Xbox/Switch player, thus using game chat for their casual bs of who they hooked up with last weekend. Sometimes in a Lord of the Rings language.

@Ev3rM0r3 Not gonna happen in Asian servers with literally thousands of different languages. Even I who can speak 4 languages rarely talk to anyone even in Nihon servers.

@maximas1986 I don’t get people who play music in the background in these types of games where audio is so crucial.

@Kyldenarnot to mention that some people have no manners, I can not count how many times I decided to unmute my teammates thinking " let's give this another try " and the first thing I hear usually is either one of them just casually burping as hard as he can, or chewing on something or at best loud metal music in the background.sorry but I don't need to hear what someone's digestive system is doing during gameplay XD

@Ev3rM0r3Mics can help but you absolutely don't need them to win a game in Ranked. Plus as others have said it's a crap shoot what kind of people you're going to get on comms. People are rarely civilized in these times so you get a lot of BS that I don't care to deal with. I only open up my mic if absolutely necessary now, & then go right back to pings. Most people in this game are too toxic. If you're playing with friends yeah it's a lot better. But with randoms. Better off using pings. So I'll say this. Good communication whether by pings or voice wins games. Cuz some people don't know how to ping.You know what else can help win games? Being in the right position! I can't tell you how many games I've rolled my eyes or sighed cuz we lost due to my tms wanting to thirst people outside of the ring or fight in the storm or we get to one of the final rings late due to the previous things I mentioned & the last team(s) have a better position than we do. Most randoms I get try to focus on kills when you need a combo of kills & placement to advance quickly. You can get 5 kills but that's not gonna do you much good if you place 11th place cuz you decided to drop to the mosh pit that's Frag. So it really takes more than talking on a mic to win. There's other factors.@CCbathwater😂😂😂

I say, I say there needs to be added a report button *NO MIC WAS USED* and ban them people for weak or two! Should be enough time to think about there life choices and how others people are affected by it! #Don't be a D, start pressing that V #MLV! #MAKE PING GRATE AGAIN!

@Ev3rM0r3 thank you, but no. Mics are not always used to win. Mics are in fact a destraction in the main. You must come to know the way of the ping, your rank to improve, young padawan 😃

I refuse to use Mics. I don't care to hear most people telling me I suck.
I also refuse to play Ranked, though, so there is that.

@OldTreeCreeperexcept that a ping can't show above and below, how many, what they're using, or what character it is, so it breaks the whole system and there are at least four maps where this can happen. Things are about as useful as people with no mics. No pro team ever went without using verbal communication. And I can't ever remember a single occasion where a streamer went without communicating with his team in a team-based game ranked or unranked.

@Cheese9Man yeah that's another pet peeve of mine that or hearing a TV in the background I just don't get it how people can take it seriously when they're not focused on the game all of that s*** should be reportable.

@Ev3rM0r3 Btw I still think that the best way to win games is to have mics/comms with teammates but the Russian roulette of whether you’ll a great random or a downright toxic random teammate on the mic is something I’m not willing to gamble.

For 3 years there are rare moments where my teammates were really wholesome with mics and we won the game. Love it but it’s so rare. I’m lucky enough to play with my irl friends most of the time so this isn’t a problem to me but I get where you guys are coming from. Communication and teamwork wins you games.

I don’t know what more can Respawn can do about this other than improving the ping system. Maybe have the choice of removing the quips button for more important and more specific pings/voice lines to communicate with your randoms. If they can remove the gun/heirloom inspect button for the heat shield/respawn beacon why not have the ability to change the quips for more important pings?
