To «end» cheating the players must be uniquely identified behind the scenes. This will happen eventually, but it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
Until then all we can do is wait for EAC to improve their game or wait for the cheatmakers to move on to the next big thing. But when that happens we’ll likely be there as well.

The issue with anti cheat stepping their game up, is the law.
It would be against the law for them to implement intrusive anti cheat measures.
- 7 years ago@Wingmannedbro Wrong. All they need to do is add into their terms of service that more intrusive measures will be used to detect cheaters and if you don't like that, don't play the game. If you got nothing to hide, then its not a problem.

You're very mistaken if you think party A can put anything they want into some contract, and that contract being fully compliant with legislature if party B happened to sign it.
That is absolutely not true.
- 7 years agoI am not saying for E.A or respawn to do something like breaking into someones computer. They simply collect "advanced telemetry" and do not need to state what it is they are collecting. Companies to this all the time, with user consent of course.
