That is 3 times in the last two gaming sessions I have come across a PC player in a console lobby. One of my sons on Ps4 same as myself play a lot of duos together. It was my understanding that as long as a PC player was not in my lobby or in my squad, that I would be pitted against console players only. Am I wrong? spectating players moving while looting death boxes and twice had a guy tap strafe like a god while trying to track him....which I know is impossible to perform tap strafing to that degree on a controller. Jumping straight up and moving 4 to 5 feet right and back 4 to 5 feel left before the player's body even starts to descend. Just ridiculous. This player went on to dominate the entire lobby with ease and win. Good thing I had that OP aim assist to cap his a*s - oh wait, I got obliterated. Can I return my aim assist for a refund? ... it isn't as OP as I was led to believe.

@XHelperZ it's useless. You turn it off and you won't find any game. It is nothing more than a pseudo-option with no practicality.

@XHelperZ I didn't see your reply. Anyway, what I mean is, I could disable it and then sit in the lobby for 30 minutes or more with me being the only one in the que. Highest I have ever seen was maybe 3 players in the que and that's it. I was never able to start a game with it off.But when I enabled it back up, I was able to find games again. Instantly at best, or I had to wait 30 seconds at worst.Honestly, with all the players out there, I find it highly unlikely that only 3 people disabled crossplay.

Hey, as noted this definitely shouldn't be happening, and some plausible reasons have been put forward for why it might appear so. That said, occasionally strange things happen. @NickBeam27 if you happen to have any recordings of the match in question, can you DM me with a link to it (hosting on youtube is the easiest) and we can take a look. There's some great info in the post, but at this stage I don't think there's much merit to a further back and forth so we'll lock it off. Thank you.

As far as I know, PC players can get into console lobbies only if they party up with console players.
Then again, I don't know. It's also possible they are using Cronus or whatever it is.
And yes, AA is way overrated.

@Cheese9Man Yes, I know how to jump over a deathbox and quickly take one thing. I know what a PC player can do while looting a box for 10 solid seconds and strafing back and forth as I watch them take their sweet time going through the loot.

And if I was new to the game, I get it....maybe I'm not sure of the difference or what have you. But Im an above average player with thousands of hrs into this game. When someone jumps moves across in mid flight that many feet and back again the same distance all while still in mid air - yup...pretty sure I know what Im seeing. One of my sons plays on PC and I have watched him play a lot! I have watched many videos of how to tap strafe on controller/console, and have logged many hours trying to pull it off... It can't be done to the degree of PC and what little can be done is extremely and I mean extremely hard to learn.

@Cheese9Man Just pulled this from online, apparently the following is a Dev's response -
Console players doesn't have to worry about being matched with pc players, unless they joined up with one:
"You will only be in PC crossplay lobbies if you have a PC player on your team"

Crossplay is enabled bij default, you can disable it in your console's settings.

That's because there are barely any console players that disable cross-play.
If players don't enable this option, does this mean that they like cross-play?
If so, should these platforms be forcibly split apart?
I mean, if users like cross-play so much, you'd make quite the portion of players mad by forcing them like that.

@NickBeam27 What icon did the player have? Any video? It is more likely the player was on console but cheating using a MnK than actually being on a PC.

@NickBeam27So yeah IDK what you saw. The only way you could see PC players is when you’re in premade squad with a PC player. As for cheats, bronze rank cheaters can join pred lobbies and vice versa. I haven’t heard of any cheats where you can join a console lobby.
