No different in gaming. So unfortunately for most, this is what you’ll get.
- 5 years ago@Koochi-Q So how about the nasty peasants riot or get noisy? The only solution to this treatment is chargebacks, since ea only speaks in likes or money.

@reasonablyupset This issue is not being ignored, it's simply taking time for EA/Respawn to sort out and correct. I understand the frustration. I have brought the topic up numerous times with the CM's and I can assure it's not something they are ignoring.
I don't want to elaborate anymore because 1. I'm not an EA employee and 2. I don't want to accidentally miscommunicate something. It's also not really my place to comment on topics like that. I do what I can to help and bring attention to things like this. I promise you, the topic is not being ignored.- 5 years ago
@DarthValtrex Valid complaint when you usually have to wait well over a month but someone can message on twitter and get it sorted within 24hrs.
Spoiler<--- Starts streaming and creates gaming twitter account. 😎

I think the reason for the ban and the evidence that can be provided matters. It's easy to unban someone that got reported for cheating if they can provide solid video evidence against it, which is probably why streamers get cleared faster.
Also, there are ban cases which are pretty difficult to investigate. For example, if a hacker spoofs an already existing hardware id and hides his ip via vpn / spoofing / etc., if a hacker sells his already banned hardware to a legitimate player, If a friend, relative or acquaintance of the player uses cheats or exploits on his device without his knowledge and so on. And neither EA nor Respawn have the authority to dig in someone's personal stuff, there are a ton of laws protecting data and privacy. Also, the network is not their property, so their hands are pretty much tied.
The best way to avoid bans is to secure your data as much as possible (2 factor authentication, strong passwords, secured network, antiviruses, don't share your devices with too many others, don't leave them unsupervised for too much near others, etc.), stay away from shady stuff (macros, 3rd party apps that "enhance" or "boost" your gaming skills, etc.), avoid playing with suspicious players, be careful when you get second hand hardware or upgrades.

@DoYaSeeMeNo, plenty of us have sufficient evidence on the contrary. Some of us submit time sheets and ip logs from ea back to ea. This was hideouts manually unbanning a """high""" profile person.
The queue time is what takes forever. Nothing more. We've had this conversation with mods and live support many times. No need to obfuscate the situation. Telling us to get 2FA after the fact is a bit silly.
We learned that lesson.
