This is not a zip line problem. It's a communication problem. A teamwork problem. A match goal problem. It's a lot of problems. But none of them have anything to do with zip lines. Zips are just the means. Take them away and a player who wants to be somewhere else will find a way to get there. Especially now that half the legends have a mobility gimmick.
If you really want to fight the problem then make sure you have your mic on and make sure you use it to COMMUNICATE, not to BERATE.
Best of luck.
You reply to everything i write with the most nonlogical responses, of course it a not a zipline problem, its a player issue and not something i do but others do. It is like you do not even read anything besides the titles. I am a 100% team player but i cannot do anything if the person does not listen or just takes off and die or does not want to be a team player. I am only in control of myself, i am friendly on the mic and i ping. People have been complaining about the zips for years for many reasons. You are the most annoying person on here.

"nonlogical responses"
Clearly I'm not communicating well.
Let me re-start by saying, I hear what you're saying. And yes, I too have experienced situations where teammates flake out and zip away. Usually to their swift and ugly death. It's sad.
But what it also is: the player using the tools provided by the developer for the expression of his or her free will.
If you want "good " teammates, and by "good" I assume you mean teammates who are more likely to share your play style and match goals, then the place for you is ranked. Just as quitters annoy you, the only thing I can suggest is that you go where the quitters aren't: ranked. If you want teammates who don't abandon you (and notice how polite I'm being by refraining from any suggestion that you may be one of those players who is given to doing things that deserve abandonment) then you need to play ranked. Then it won't matter if the zip lines go or stay.
But for the record, they're going to stay no matter what. Dev put 'em there for a reason. And it wasn't just to annoy you.
For the sake or argument: Do they need to delete tridents from Storm Point for the same reason? Do they need to delete jump towers from Kings Canyon for the same reason? Do they need to nerf Octane's sprint or Valk's ultimate because they can be used to "run away" or "abandon the squad?" Does the dev need to add a mechanic where teammates who wander too far from their jump master start to lose shields or health? I know this all sounds like I'm being difficult, but these are intended as honest questions. I've actually put the "no wander" mechanic out there before, and I'm more than a little surprised that Respawn hasn't done something like it. Yet.

Again lacking logical thinking. All you want to do is debate people, you could care less about anything else. 🤣

What then is the purpose of this forum if not to have someone voice an opinion and then have other people respond? I mean, if there's some kind of unwritten rule that you should only respond to a post you AGREE WITH then I guess I was absent that day.
And, as I said before, if you don't care to have your opinions challenged, or even questioned, then either don't post them to begin with or ignore the responses that offend you.
But how on earth did you think "delete zip lines on broken moon" was going to go without any pushback whatsoever????
