@XraXraXraXraXraX Did your friend get unbanned? I got hacked and banned. I've made an appeal, and I've waited 10 days so far. I've talked to EA both through live chat and phone call, but when I ask them to check my login activity, they say that all because I secured the account (set up two-factor authentication, changed password etc) after I noticed I had been hacked, they can't track the IP addresses. I've talked to three people from EA who told me that. So how is the ToS team gonna be able to check? I have not been hardware-banned. I made a new account to see for myself, and I can play as normal.
I got unbanned today 1 month and one week of waiting, finally ! justice always here !

Yup hacked by russian mail / Chinese game history club, hope the two step security work well with steam guard and Google authenticator after that don't want to be hacked again.
I am going through the same thing right now. Account was hacked at the beginning of January, and the EA team recovered it for me. Someone in Malaysia was playing on it. Wake up a few days later to an email saying my account has been permanently banned. Over a month has gone by now, still no response from the TOS team. Hoping this is dealt with soon!

I got my account cleared yesterday, it took a long while but at least it's back again. It took about 7 weeks for me. To others going through this, don't lose hope guys!
@mdot2ssd Did someone hack your account and use cheats on it, or did you get banned for something else?
