I've always felt that the 20 bomb was a cheater's badge. Even if someone gets it without cheating, what happened was that sbmm put them in a lobby they should never have been in. No reward deserved. Expunge that badge from the game or auto-ban anyone who "achieves" it.
And I would have said that "average players get kills in the teens" is still wildly overstated. That would be, again, "average" high platinum players who found themselves in a bronze lobby. I would love to know what the average number of kills/match is across the entire BR player base. I'm sure Respawn knows but they're not telling.
