Re: How often do you encounter these types of randoms?

I in this matter am all up for what imphall is and says - if you want to win emotions take over quite often and some harsher words or higher voice tone is ok, as long as you keep your feedback, comments constructive not just say "you are dumb, ok".

Do you not see the difference?  Hal is not playing with randoms.  He is playing with people he knows personally.  Not only have have chosen to play with him, they've done so agreeing and acknowledging that he is the leader.

EDIT I'm only just responding to this bit here on its own, re: heated verbal criticism of team mates.  I enjoyed your story!

@pandareno1999to be honest I treat all people equally be it my parents or randoms in Apex = if you mess up you will hear about it, especially if you mess up on agreed stuff or do repetitive mistakes.

For me the difference between a random person and someone you know is only in the fact that someone you know should also know you and be able to handle you better, make educated guesses why I act as I do, a random person might flip out more because he/she has no context, will probably think I am mental.

Also, I have studied management and have a lot to say about the "leader" therm. Long story short leader usually is just the person who voices his/her opinion the loudest and encourages people to follow/do what the leader says to avoid chaos, the usual urge of people to do what they want to do not what is best for everyone. So in my head leader does not equal this great dude who comes in with a polite speech to unite us all and make everyone happy - that's Santa Claus not a leader :P

@dSKyNafinchinto be honest I saw that in one streamer's clip, before that I never thought about sharing weapons in situations like that nor anyone had or since then asked to do that via coms or chat. But gladly I now do it automatically if I encounter such a situation.

@hayhorI agree, yet emotions is something like a brainfu$@ and not always people can control them, our animal brain sometimes just take over, pump a dose of adrenaline on top of elevated testosterone and sh#$ hits the fan, at least for a second.

Also a comment regarding looting - I somewhat agree with @pandareno1999 maybe not to an extent when teammates wait for you - the killer - to loot every box and take what you want, but the mentioned examples when you are broken and a person switches armor in front of your eyes form the box you killed (especially if they had not much input)...that does tickle some nerve cells, e.g. yesterday I had a game where my teammates are triple blue, care package comes over, I ping it saying I will pick it up, risk going for it, guard and look around while it lands, meanwhile my teammates just run around in the safe zone, not even trying to back me up, yet one of them at the last moment comes over, times it perfectly and picks up purple from the package without even saying how much off purple is his blue - had to go and check it myself. I did not say anything but it did trigger some of my nerves.

@EREGDS Don't feel bad for not thinking of it! If there are weapons right at the beacon where they drop in, it's basically pointless. Plus, I generally play with my two close friends (not so much these days, as they are usually on CoD), so we communicate via party chat. If there aren't weapons by the beacon, we'll share so we have a better chance. Once the receiving person finds their own weapons, we usually drop the other one for the person that initially dropped it. I am definitely a little less inclined to share with randoms, unless they've been a good team player during the match. Ping spammer? No way.. find your own loot XD

@dSKyNafinchin team effort/team is as strong as its weakest link => if a person does not have a good/best possible loadout you as a team will suffer unless you are anyway in an overpowering situation.

E.g. in my case, it was a difference between straight 3v3 or 2v3 where each of my teammates would hold 1 idle gun...kinda pointless even if the teammate is trash the gun in his hand would still make more use than being idle in your backpack 🙂
