Re: Loba: initial impression

@BaldWraithSimp The best time it worked for me, was at airbase after the initial loot we fought a squad... they had quite a good position, 2 on ground one on the roof. We were near the slope.

I had a TripleTake and an AR, took a bit of damage and hid behind a box while i launched the bracelet out into the wastelands so i could Phoenix. Before coming back and doibg a mix of long and close range damage.

We won, but I didn't feel fully confident in the bracelet, and especially how it meant i left my team to fend for themselves whilst i revived.

Again some of the animation times of it added to this feeling of being inactive in the fight. Not to mention you also need to get back to the fight.

If they work out a few of the kinks they could make this tactical a lot more usable without making it OP.

  • @1ronKeys so @everybody involved. So I just played a few matches and I have no idea how but now I could actually use jumptower, equip tact and launch it. I first tried equipping while zipping... that worked... then on another tower tried zipping, jumping, equipping and throwing and that also worked... so I have no idea why it didn't go around midnight last night... weird...

Also now I could walk when I had thrown the bracelet... so I either didn't notice the walking last night or I couldn't do it. I'm leaning more towards the second, but I'm assuming it's the first and that I was so enthralled in the character (no... no you pervs not a specific part :P) that I didn't notice the slight movements.

In most cases I think it's actually faster to run... You'd be slightly behind where the jump off points would be, but not that far back. That said, running means likely getting shot if someone was standing perpendicular towards you.

I had a match today where I dominated an octane and he turned away so I immediately warped towards him. He ran against a door (he was standing next to) and faced me head on... in the time it took for me to finish the animation of my bracelet, he did 100-120 damage with his L-star... I could just fire 1 bullet before I was dead... so I looked at the dmg done... he has 10 hp left ☹️

So yea... get rid of the animation or speed up the throw is still my advice to make this skill worth while in multiple scenarios
  • @Koochi-Q Yeahh man.

I also sometimes feel a little disorientated post teleport. I dunno if this is partially to do with it not goinf exactly where you expected, or to do with the animation time to the sudden *well here you are*
