i can't stand it but it absolutely should be available to those who love it.  Just make it 2 separate options.

Please, keep the new modes and creativity coming.  3 strikes was amusing.  There is zero wrong with trying something new.  Despite the criticism I know you guys are doing all you can with features in the game, match making, etc.  As a Computer Science professional I can appreciate all that is going on here and the complexity.  Especially with SBMM (which I feel I get screwed by due to the fact I'm a day zero player and have tons of games but am still not very good... the games played goes against me I suspect).  I've given this a lot of thought and it's a damn difficult problem and you can't say too much about it as many people just constantly try to game the system to their own advantage.

    Had to play this yesterday. Naturally need the Lifeline skin. Been putting it off because, you know, Apex just doesn't have a good mode. Anyway, needed all the points I could get so I just need to run one game of Control now.

    What even is this? All sorts of hop-ups with a 7-page description? I ain't reading that. Can they just let people play the actual game? Holy...

    Anyway, so went on duos, but forgot that duos have 30 teams, so getting 4 top-10's would be extra hassle. Then even get this Wattson who still drops Fragment after literally saying I need top-10's. The fun just never stops on BR mode.

    Why am I getting hard chased by a Nessie I can't kill?? Bruh... 🤡

    @CCbathwater The 4 top 10s is about as easy as the challenges get. Just no fill queue, drop by yourself in some corner and wait a few minutes for the top 10 to happen and then leave.

    @hayhor I wanna play the game. I don't wanna waste my time sitting doing nothing. Then I could just go on ranked with my Caustic/Wattson teammates and sit in a house for 4 zones.

     haha i do that aswell for every daily i don't like especially the play that x character 12games.
    especially since the game is not worth playing since mmr happened otherwise i usually played thoses game with legend i play less but the mmr make it unbearable to play non meta char.

    My only issue with the FFVIII event and the sword is replacing regular trios with it.  Separate LTM feels like a better fit.  Otherwise, the materia and the sword make for a fairly ridiculous mode.

    @WTF_Huitzo The dailies should respect the legends you have available (weeklies too). My wife does not have many characters unlocked yet and getting objectives for legends you don't have seems a bit unfair/harsh.

    @RockDokRock Not to mention if you buy a pack, it doesn't respect that you haven't unlocked a legend since Valk. It will still give you Newcastle, Maggie, and Ash stuff. 🤔

    It suxx hard, Dev Team.....get it out of the game now, it kills my K/D ratio so I´m not playing 3v3 anymore.

    Actually going to delete this game over this stupid event.

    If I wanted to play final fantasy... guess what.. I'd play final fantasy.

    But seeing as I don't have that game on my console, I'll also get rid of this one.
