The stupid ship doesn’t stay down long enough for you to make it there. I had to traverse the whole map almost (market to slums) and it took off as I was passing bunker. It needs to stay down atleast 2-3 mins. It can’t come down for 30 seconds and take right back off... that’s dumb.
It does tell you where the first ring is before you even leave the drop ship. If you head for that area, you'll then have the countdown of the ship landing and the time it's on the ground to get there. This is much easier as pathfinder or octane, but caustic is good to use when camping in the evac ship general area. Hope this helps.
