@fartnitepalyerHe even had a cringe back and forth with Josh Medina (dev) on twitter. Annoying that he only got a slap on the wrist while average joes in this forum get permanent bans (most of them deserve it though).
The email he got said that it was a perma ban but Josh Medina basically said why are you crying so much for a temporary ban. I guess they reversed the perma ban.
I watch many streamers and none of them like Apex anymore. They constantly say bad things about game and developers (on pretty much every stream) and if not money/viewers, they would switch to other games immediately.
Banning Taxi2G will have no negative impact on player base, but there is small chance that small wave of negativity can turn into much bigger wave. And you know all these internet warriors/cancel culture... nobody wants to deal with them.
- hayhor4 years agoHero@SlivPTS Yeah sorry you are wrong, they don't all rip on it. Some need the negativity for their streams because without it they are nothing. Nickmercs one of the biggest twitch streamers there is, is incredibly positive about the game.
- 4 years ago@hayhor wrong? Please explain why opinion of NICKMERCS has higher value, than let's say from Albralelie (or many other PRO players from US and RU)? Only because he has more viewers? As far as i know NICKMERCS is new to apex. How long he is playing? 6 months?
Also don't forget that there is not so many alternatives for streamers who like fast BR games. If Nicholas switched from Warzone to Apex, then what other alternatives he has? Usually you are not talking trash about something what helps you make money (especially with no alternatives).- 4 years ago
Here's how to not be affected by it...don't watch streamers.
Honestly, it's not worth it anyway. And cheating wouldn't get a pass if there wasn't an obvious bias because people watch a game's stream
