@dSKyNafinchinI never thought I'd watch somone else play a video game, but Apex changed that. I find the game extremely difficult so I started watching to figure out how to get better. Now most of the streamers are such entitled whiners that I can't stand it half the time. Last night was just bad watching a streamer I usually like but he and his teammates just went on and on about everything that sucked about Apex. For people who make a living playing a video game, it just feels so hypocritical and immature.
@HappyHourSumwur I used to have the same "you get for paid for playing a video game" mindset but then I realized it is still a job. I could not play the same game 8 hours a day and have to be happy talking to subscribers. It is basically having a repetitive job. I give the ones that remain positive a lot of credit.
I find it hard to watch streamers in general. I can’t watch someone for hours waiting for something to happen especially in BRs. I like watching apex in youtube. Basically the iTemp, Jankz and Kandyrew format.
edit: I usually put streams on when I’m doing something else as background noise.
- @Cheese9Man If you are watching ranked apex BR played by conservative players I totally agree. I cannot watch them sit in queue for 5 minutes and then loot for 10 and wall bounce for another 5. I only watch ranked people that play it aggressively.
I usually don't watch streams, instead, I watch YT. Streams take up a lot of time and there's a lot of commercials on TTV. I just want to cut to the action and not sit there while they're in the lobby waiting for the que, select legend, and drop out of the ship before they really start doing stuff.
