@Renegade_Prime86 From what I have read, it's not that much of a nerf. Increased health cost and reduced cooldown? You won't be able to spam as much. That's about it, I don't feel sorry for myself as an Octane main
@ILostT0Loba I don't see the point of that tbh. It's easy to take down a spammer. And I can't see it making it much harder to chase people.
- @GH0STEDbyME Octane always had very high 1v1 encounter win rate. Maybe the recent buffs pushed him further on the top, so they are trying to reduce some mobility creep.
I will see how it affects him after the nerf. If its just a stim CD nerf it won't effect any serious octane players, it'll just scare off the spam plonkers as stated above.
Good result all round I say.
- @MandatoryIDtag Iirc the nerf is the increase damage coming from stim but the counterbalance is that you can spam it much sooner. I think it's meant to lower Octane's escape chances which in itself isn't a bad thing. I still think they need to just make it so that Octane can't use his stim if he's too low.
@Daze623 Ahhhh i see, thank-you for the clarification. Sounds like the is result is practically the same though.
Anybody with a pair of braincells to rub together knows that there are very few situations where stim spam is actually the right call lol. 😛
