@KelRiever As far as I'm aware, you can purchase it at any time, unless it's a bug at the moment. I've purchased it several times when I already had the BP maxed out

Community ManagerThere is a current issue preventing some people from upgrading if they're already at a high level, but this should be getting a hotfix shortly.
Normally as @dSKyNafinchin mentioned, you're able to upgrade at any point whether you've made progress in the battle pass or are just starting out.
