Still not improving on console
I just do not understand. I think 1 year has passed since I made a similar thread, and yeah, I am still as bad as I was back then. Tried different things, different settings, different button layouts...

Yeah I had to set it to 10%. That and the response curve at 10. That is the only way I am going to not have stick drift, it seems.
Oh also I recorded this clip, and it shows exactly why I think I am just trash. I couldn't hit anything. Most of my fights go just like this and it's so dumb.
@AcidicSoda44031If you need 10% that controller is busted. You could open it and clean the inners of the stick with 100% alcohol which should help some for a little while. I've done it plenty times, but I would just get a new one.
It seems like you struggle with tracking being / feeling slow in that clip and then over shooting when you try to adjust it? I know that feeling all too well.
Try this, it's all settings you'll ever need:
Deadzone - 0 ideally, mine is at 3.
Outer threshold - 2%
Response curve - 6
Yaw - 470
Pitch - 240-250
Ads yaw - 130
Ads pitch -95
ALL the rest set to 0.
I hate the stick length on PS controllers so I play with extenders which gives you a bit more movement control in between. The rest is just practice but these settings after a long search at last made the gunplay feel good. Use it, don't use it, up to you.

@Sand_spitter ok thanks, I will try those. Also thought to open up the controller and clean it. I already did that with the Xbox, shouldn't be a problem.
@lilbabyjoe69 yes I do have a preference for MnK. Took a while to get used to. I am not a pro by any means, but at least my K/D is a little above 1,2 for BR mode, for this season.
My K/D for Season 12 Arenas is 1,83. Meanwhile on console, it is 0,88. Not even half.
I spent much more time on a controller. And I never had anything above 1. My K/D has been 0,6 since I started in season 5, so basically forever now. I still have my bad streaks on MnK sometimes, but on console it is like the norm.
Started playing in season 10 and my K/Dr has never been higher than 0.5. This season it's at 0.2 hahaha. Getting pulverized this season. At the firing range everyday and watch many videos about tips to playing AL... It's fun when I do get knocks and an occasional kill...
Some days I wonder why I'm playing this game... Not going to lie... I enjoy it when it's working right without issues...
Unfortunately there are some using 3rd party software but there are also players that are that good with incredible movement and shooting accuracy. Tough game to play especially solo... Agree with; if you're not having fun then move on...

- @Sand_spitter alright I think my controller is busted. I tried various dead zones, ect. But I have to crank it up to like 9% to not have stick drift. I also have 12 response curve now, not sure if that is any good.
@AcidicSoda44031well it depends on you really and how you feel about it and perform with it. But for me, I wouldn't stray from the settings I posted. I just feels perfect for me with the curve at 6. The thing I've learn about custom settings is that every setting pretty much works in unison with one another otherwise the whole thing just falls flat - one change can change the feel completely thereby ruining it. Also a little stick drift is fine as long as it's moving very slowly, I have that too, but it sounds like you have a lot? I'd rather just replace the controller then. You're gonna need consistency to build up muscle memory if you want good aim so a busted controller will only get worse and you'll eventually have to adjust settings again to compensate.
- @AcidicSoda44031 I saw a youtube video that showed a controller with drift issues and this guy took an air aerosol can and cleared out the debris from the stick areas. He shows a really easy way to clean it out and the comments written seems that it worked for many of them. Look for it and give a try before getting another controller...
- @JDmRogue1 The aerosol can will work temporarily but will over time become less and less effective.
One thing about that though- Do not spray directly into it. You could damage the electronics that the sticks press against. That Playstation tech guy on youtube just posted this yesterday - a couple more advanced methods to try to alleviate stick drift. I cannot vouch for the value, but here it is.
@Sand_spitter in fact I changed settings many times over the months. I wish I could just settle for one.

@hayhor yeah thanks. Trust me, I know that very well. First time I used an air duster to clean, I basically fried my PC and had to replace the components. Yikes 🤐
