Suspended for hate speech directed at me
Got an interesting email, and haven't been able to get any response from EA for four days.

We want to notify you that we have found your EA Account to be in violation of our Rules of Conduct.
While reviewing your account, we identified the following violation:

Being part of a gaming community should be positive, fun, fair, and safe for all. This means that we take any breaches of our Rules of Conduct, including toxic behavior, very seriously. We outline our commitment to this in our Positive Play Charter:
Since this is a serious violation, we are suspending your account for 168 hours (one week), effective immediately.
So I reported someone for writing that and then I was the one suspended for a week. Is this a normal thing or something or is the algorithm they use to find abuse broken?

Sorry to hear you that there was some harassment involved.
If this happens, please report them and mute them to make sure they get appropriate action take towards their accounts.I don't know the situation but don't try to react or anything else that could make them report you.

They try to reply within 5 business days but it could take a bit longer due to the increased safety measures being put in place.
Just keep an eye on your mailbox and also check your spam and promotion folders as sometimes these emails can get routed over there.
