Thirsty Mfs (half rant)

Thirsting downed enemies really makes me mad. I've been thinking about this for a while, but I just had a match that really raged me. I was with my team right at the end of that tunnel that goes out...

Strafe side to side or a circular motion to dodge the shot's with out using your knock down shield. {this is what I normally do when downed and I don't put up a knockdown shield}

Nothing is more funnier then being a moving downed target and watching your enemies miss at a distance or up close. while watching them miss shot after shot and emptying a mag and having to reload or trying to punch you.

Then they are the one's being engaged by another team or your teammate while they're focusing in on you. And they get knocked down / Eliminated while your other teammate picks you up.

Reasons I'll thirst:
I want to shield swap/get supplies/recharge my shield with a finisher
Their teammates are nowhere near by
I want to secure the kill, prevent the revive and stop any information being relayed
They have a gold shield
I can do a quick circle around their shield to thirst them immediately
There is absolutely no chance of me surviving the encounter with the rest of their team (I don't exercise this reason often).
Reasons I wont thirst:
It wasn't my/my team's knock so doesn't benefit
Focusing on the enemy that can shoot you is far more important
I know they don't have a gold shield
They can provide excellent bait for their teammates
It wastes ammo
They're at range with a good knock shield so it'll just use even more ammo to break through it.
I've been in several situations where I'm knocked or I'm spectating a teammate and instead of going for the safe revive or focusing on the other teammate, they go for the thirst (even when it wasn't their knock) which usually results in their death. It's one of the few times I'll un-mute and give them an earful of how bad they are.
