Running off to a totally different area away from your team is ofc in most cases not good, but we also have to recognize that different people have different opinions how close you want to be to each other in different scenarios. Some people want their team to drop in different buildings to increase each members chances of getting a weapon and then trust in their individual ability to win a potential 1v1, whereas some people want to jump together in the same building so they can melee any enemy who jumps with them. This is also the case in normal fire fights. Some people prefers the team to spread out so they can get different angels on the enemies and possible flank attacks, whereas some people want you to literally hold their hand at all time.
What Im trying to say is that there are few "universal" right and wrongs when it comes to game strategy and this is something we have to understand if we play with randoms. If we want the "perfect" teammate, who thinks and acts like you want, then we have to find like-minded premades, its simple as that.
