For some reason, I only found out about the Lulu situation yesterday. I would like to say a whole bunch on this topic, but with my rudimentary knowledge of how this went down on her stream I'd rather not put my oar in just yet. I stopped watching Lulu quite a while back because despite being a "wholesome" streamer II found her to be among those who promote toxicity by whining and blaming their killer (or random team mates if solo queueing) every time things don't go as planned.
I'll just say this - a solid percentage of streamers, FPS in particular, either actively court and encourage this sort of behavior among their chat by directly modeling it, or do little to discourage it, tacitly approving it. For many of them, this is their only appeal to offer to their audience. Twitch chat is a cesspool, perhaps even worse than twitter and not far behind youtube comments. Twitch is pretty poor at patrolling content. Streamers are found actively promoting their cheats, opening player profiles on stream and encouraging their chat to harass those players, etc. And yet they remain on their platform. Swim at your own risk.
To address your question, @asukojo . I don't watch a lot of streams with the size audience Lulu has. That chat goes by so fast and furious that I hardly look at it. These guys have whole teams working to keep their chat in line and lots of auto-modding tools as well. I can't address why this system broke down in her chat because I didn't see it happen.
