As we all know that a lot of Warzone streamers/content creators are moving to apex. Because of that, people are concerned that the cheater situation in Apex might worsen. People are speculating that the cheaters are also migrating to apex. Google trends shows that there is an all time peak when it comes to "apex legends hack" searches at the time when people are moving away from Warzone (Apex's end of S9 and start of S10). Should the apex community or Respawn be concerned? On the other hand, popular streamers moving into apex is generally a good thing for the health of the game. @Cheese9Man There is a difference between the two tho. Apex actually has an automated anti cheat as well as a place to report. Warzone has no automated system or live people to report to.

@RockDokRock You cant really tell what ping your opponent are until it's too late unfortunately. Get shot through a door or behind a box? Your opponent is on high ping. Get blitzed without seeing them. They may have better ping.....or they could be actually cheating.

@Gabrielmojo26 The people on 100+ are on those servers because they dont have any close to them or they have picked them to get away from whatever is close. I know people from SA that join NA because they hate the SA servers. Some have friends across the world. I play with EU people a lot and join them and have 100+ ping a lot. Sometimes they join me. What I will say is I tend to have a little bit better results on lower ping. Anyone claiming the high ping people do it for an advantage need to spend 100 days, 50 each way and see how things go. I have a couple years of both.

@RockDokRock Those instances like you described with the valk are probably more related to connection than you know. On your screen she wasnt turned but on hers she probably was.

with EAC being so popular drivers are developed to bypass EAC's security so cheaters are allowed to Inject cheats into the client(game) and spoof their HWID to avoid being auto-detected and banned. so there isn't an easy fix, maybe hideouts will become active 24/7

@Cheese9Man It turns out that the data was gathered right after the July 4 hack, and that the search terms included "apex hacked." There's absolutely nothing surprising about a huge uptick in that search on that weekend.

@Cheese9Man Yeah on console I’ve noticed an increase in questionable players who seen to have “soft hacks” on controller. (Software/hardware, that modifies controller input to create zero recoil)

When Spectating most seem to be under lvl 100, and on PS4.

@Cheese9Man I'm sure this is happening on console too, I used to grind to platinum easily in a couple of days then very slowly grind to plat 3 or 2. Now I am still Gold 2 after almost 2 weeks in the new season because I feel like I'm playing against masters most of the time and I die quickly like it's impossible... I'm full of health and sometimes die in 1/10 of a second, this would never happen before. So I'm reporting those cheaters but I can't even report PS4 players on the screen!!!!? grrrr Last game was killed by a Silver player who did 13 frags and I watched him he didnt even shoot well he was shooting like a noob I shoot way better than him, wth??

BTW I'm not trying to claim that cheating has or has not risen due to player base increase. But the article this post is based on is flawed, as I described in my first post.
