Why add master rank?

If you're just going to do a soft rank reset? Literally defeats the whole point of adding master rank and rank queue restrictions. You just shoved everyone into the same games, so plats and golds get put against predators. So rank is going to be unplayable trash for a month? What was the point of all this, if you're just going to undo it with a soft rank reset? 

First 30days of the season is going to be unplayable trash, second 30days will be more ideal, and last 30days will be long queue times that make the game literally unplayable. What was the point of all this, just seems like a waste of time and money, I would've rather have gotten bug fixes and balance changes.
