Why did Apex legends take away Support perks?

Oh, for sure people were abusing it. But they over corrected by taking it all away. I'm not saying go back to the Meta. I'm just saying why not have fast heals or double heals. Something to make them more relevant in this fast kill time.
Because healing fast is better then every perk it can’t be matched especially when you have 3 people who can heal fast and also have defensive abilities it’s impossible to control
