I've noticed bot royale on pc is way much more difficult than it is on switch. For some reason the bots shots do much more damage, and the bots will throw grenades and use difficult movement to avoid getting shot. In the console version it is so easy you can win every match, but the pc version you barely ever win it is so difficult. Maybe they should include more than one difficulty level for the pc version. Also, it's not a skill issue since I've won 2 season 22 pubs matches on pc and have gotten several kills in a br match before, though I've only been playing the pc version since season 22 started so the controls are new to me, but bot royale seems much harder than the console version.Anyone know why this is or what could be causing it? You really can't let the bots hit you at all since you die so fast, but the console version it is easy to win every match since they can shoot you like 10 times and you can just heal back up with batteries and med kits. Weird.

@AymCTL I think for you it is just getting used to the PC controls. I can only speak for myself (but I think others would feel the same) Bot Royal is a joke and is easy to win it is boring. I am not trying to sound mean or anything. Like I said it could just be learning the new controls. I am sure if I got on the Switch to play the bots would murder me. I have not had a joycon in my hand for over 2 years. Work on it and you will do better. I have faith in you.

Wouldn't mind it being harder, but there's plenty in this game already that's hard so I'm willing to enjoy it as is until there's an option to step it up a little.. Boring? I quite enjoy the Bot Royale also. I know its not challenging, but Pubs is challenging enough so the relaxed feel of Bot Royale is a nice change. I would like difficulty settings to step it up also and would probably find myself playing that more often than pubs. For now I find it good fun. I'm enjoying playing legends on it and using weapons I would never use normally. And still, I can't remember the last time playing pubs when I ever laughed. Bot Royale is hilarious. Food wholesome dumb fun. : )

Ive seen variations of bots in bot-royale.
Encountered one Aimbot-bot as well. Beamed me instantly with flatline.
Most of the bots somewhat lame though.

One of my favorite FPS shooters of all time was Wolfenstein Enemy Territory roughly 20 years ago.
Game eventually died but was brought back to life by a small community with a new name ET Legacy.
As there were really no online players they developed bot enemies (Omni-Bot) to enjoy the game. And to be fair it works really well as refreshing alternative to PvP.
Bots have their few well thought out difficulty modifiers that can be adjusted from the ingame menu or by console commands(see below). I would assume that would not be too hard to include in Apex Bot Royale either.

@Airish85 Me too, I've noticed the bots at the beginning of the match just stand still shooting, but later in the match they move faster and even push your team if you are holding a building. The match is usually relaxing for me until the last two teams or so. I too have seen them shoot so precise it was like they had aimbot. It's definitely a good way to practice. After going into the firing range I now do bot royale until I win every match before going onto PvP.

@MrGreenWithAGun It's definitely not easy. You can't loot death boxes and you have very little ammo on the map compared with pubs or ranked. (Except E District) It's very easy to die at the end from lack of ammo, and the final squad at the end is usually pretty quick movement wise and aim very well that they can take you out pretty quick, and if you are solo the two bots on your squad usually die pretty early in the match unless you revive them. So, I'd say it's not easy, but is much easier than pubs or ranked, perfect to warmup before playing or for new players to play on until they feel ready for pubs.

As for me, since I can win them all on console and about half on pc, I think it's probably as Asmodeus was saying that I need to get more used to the pc controls. I do wish we could loot death boxes and had more ammo though.
