I literally can not play apex with out being in a pred/masters lobbies with 140000 kills minimum and I only have 3888 kills and my kid is 1.19 I'm still getting smashed by people who are infinitely better than ME WHY AM I WITH THEM THIS * * MATCHMAKING DOESNT MAKE SINCE and I know I've been told get gud and stop being * but I cant compete with people playing SINCE DAY NUMBER ONE AND IF I HAVE TO WAIT 10 MINUTES FOR * MATCH MAKING TO PUT ME WITH ANOTHER GODDAMN PRED IM GONNA * LEAVE I have to wait multiple minutes just for match making doesnt matter what mode quads trios solos mix tape doesn't matter I'm waiting min 4 minutes max 10 minutes the longest I've ever seen was 25+ in season 19 because ranked was pairing me with preds and masters. in short EA * FIX YOUR * MATCH MAKING I SHOULDNT BE WITH x21 PREDS EVERY DAMN GAME I PLAY IT DOESNT MAKE SINCE.

Yeah, I agree, to show how bad the matchmaking is I actually got placed with one of the top algs players/youtubers that I watch. At first I didn't believe it was really him until I saw his damage tracker that was in the multi millions and my jaw just dropped. He got 21 kills and I only got 2 lol. I thought it was cool he kept ressing me every time I got knocked even though he really didn't need to since there were several 1v3s he won before I could even get into the building. Not only was this bad matchmaking as low as my kd is, but I noticed he took way less damage than I did while shooting out in the open without cover and also when spectating him while knocked I noticed his aim is really not much better than mine, just he has very fast reflexes and all of his shots registered as he snapped from one enemy to the next. It just confirmed for me that some of the issues I have are technical problems with the game.Anyway, I agree they should fix the matchmaking. I too get too many lobbies with people above my skill level.

The game isn't bugged, your pc likely isn't capable or your network conditions are bad. Also you're delusional if you honestly think you'd could beat any algs player. Especially when you have to create a scenario that doesn't even exist in the games mechanics to make that point. Timmy is also an aim demon, watch him play other games or Kovaaks. He's far above the majority of Apex pros when comes to raw mechanics.

This game is not skill based. You can experience on yourself in Firing Range. In games like CS 1.6 you could do head shots without any cheats and aiming, just purely due to your developed skills. In this game no matter how far your enemy 5 meters or 100 of you, you still need to aim to hit him. Otherwise bullets flies anywhere. And aiming is a luck, it's involves preprogramed animation. If your connection with server not the best you have no chance. It's even pointless to use aiming. To me take million years the "aim animation" to react. In general, it's really badly programmed game, from ideas to mechanics. And let's not forget developers continuously changes weapon to the point where none uses them at all. Examples Triple Take, Charge Rifle and just because someone complained about other's skill issues. It's like this game would be just for one type of skilled players. Me in the past developed skill on Longbow, could drop the guy without any gun upgrades with 3 shots from a long distance. But now they changed gun again... It just stupid

It was insane. Had he not have kept bringing me back I wouldn't have lasted long since I kept getting knocked every fight, lol. I guess only he could get 21 kills in a match, hahaha. My 2 kills was embarrassing. 🙂

why the hell am I in PRED AND MASTERS LOBBIES WITH THOUSANDS OF KILLS???

I've seen accuracy numbers from algs players, and they really aren't any better than most normal players, apparently you and I included. I think what's different is that their accuracy is accomplished on extremely mobile targets, while normal players such as myself are naturally matched with players who don't have what seems like pc macro style movement.

So I guess I don't need an aimbot, I just need a pc + mnk + motion cheats. If it isn't one cheat then it's another.

Not trying to make light of an experience that's making you miserable, but your k/d doesn't say to me that you're in the wrong lobbies. It says to me that you're in the right lobbies. Not that the matchmaker uses only k/d to gauge skill, but it's certainly one factor. Is there any other vital stat that you feel would reasonably be better if you were matched differently?

@reconzero Yeah, to me it seemed that what he was better at was faster reflexes and just going from one thing to the next, but not necessarily aim.

No Timmy is one of the pro Apex players that actually has insane aim mechanics. His target switching and tracking is far above most players. Most don't though.
Also his game awareness and confidence plays a big role. It's easy to stomp people when you believe you should win every fight you take. Average players usually lack that or their confidence greatly outweighs their mechanics and awareness.

@airmango6918776 The matchmaking has been broken for years and the increase in cheaters and smurfs starting with last season just makes it that much worse. EA/Respawn are doing nothing about it and probably never will.

@SchraLpz I think his aim individually is about as good as mine, but I think mine is pretty good when the game works right.

What makes him better is his speed and how fast he moves from one target to the next.

However, what if we take itzTimmy or any other algs player, make it where they get knocked in only 2 hits no matter what gun hits them, the enemies can't be seen half the time, their movement slows down whenever a gunfight starts, and the damage they do is only a tenth of what it should be where a whole clip from a gun does under 90, sometimes only 16 like I had from the nemesis, and many shots go right through the enemy without registering.

I am willing to bet I could defeat any algs player with these conditions in a 1v1 in the firing range pit, yet sadly these are the conditions I play in each day on both switch and pc. Yet, I've learned to work around these things and still get 1 or 2 kills each day, and even won 5 matches this season. I'll bet if I had the advantages these players do I'd be predator and an algs champion.

When I see people not even bother to take cover when they are shot and get hit much more than me yet take little to no damage, maybe just drop a couple shield squares when there getting hit so much it's like a disco strobe going off when you spectate them you know there's a problem.

My rant here isn't to put down itztimmy or any other algs player or youtuber because they are amazing and produce great content. My problem is that the game is bugged and it's holding many players back that should be doing much better, and many are leaving the game for these reasons.
