You have a different issue.I don't get it in other games.Only games that have easy anti cheat.(vermintide/apex)
Same issue in Titanfall 2. And it happens even in the campaign. I am suspecting Origin here. I only have these 2 installed in my computer. I am gonna try installing another one.

This is annoying as hell. I don't have any clue why this happens, but I think is something similar to your issue. Also have this issue in Titanfall 2 and I just saw something similar but not that extreme in Mass Effect legendary edition. Of course there is not much of an issue, it's an rpg, but sill.
In other games I don't see this pattern at all. Horizon Zero Dawn runs perfectly fine. Same with Rocket League. - 5 years ago
To add something else to this thing. I noticed a sudden low usage of gpu when these spikes happen. The mild coild whine that my card produces when is in high usage is suddenly muted, and then immediatly I see the spike. I also checked my wattameter and I saw a sudden -10Watts when these spikes happen.
Some time ago Origin did something really annoying and alt tab the game suddenly and unexpectedly, so I figured this could be an extreme case of the very same thing?

I honestly have no idea.I stopped trying to fix the issue and uninstalled the game. Can't be bothered to do the devs jobs.
I already sent them to a possible cuplrit (easy anti cheat) if they can't be bothered to look into it then I simply will play something else.

Well, after a lot of digging, at least in my case I am 100% sure the problem is with the mess of drivers I have (usbs, headphones, controllers, HIDs... ) . Something like it is happening to this guy: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/jco9v4/device_manager_constantly_refreshing_windows_10/
Sadly, there is no quick solution that I know of. - 5 years ago
I managed to flatten the frametime graph finally. I unplugged all usb devices and hubs and made a cold shutdown. Now it finally works good.

I think you have a different issue completly or atleast not what I'm getting. For me its mainly "smooth" except the occasional 50ms spike.(once/twice a game) yours is every few seconds.

Yeah, could be because more devices tho.

Except it only happens with games using Easy anti cheat.(in my case) if it was a usb plug issue it would be in every game.

Did u ever find a fix?

No.

Same for me. Windows 11 didn't help, sadly. Annoying...

I solved this by changing the network from private to public. Maybe you can try.
This isn't a network issue. The stutter is an actual stutter that shows up in a frametime graph (lagg stutter doesn't show on a frametime graph)
I know, I saw it too, and I posted some graphs as well. I am not sure why, maybe some origin *, but it is solved with that.

I've always used public network for my internet connection so thats not it :/

I think I found a fix for this. I randomly came across this YouTube video and tried it. I had over 400 friends because I find random players on discord servers. When I deleted all but 20 my stuttering was totally gone and my frametimes were much more consistent. I would recommend trying this out. https://youtu.be/XqvMlC4P5wA

I was already sub 20 friends when I started this thread.(still am)
The guy also keeps saying stuttering but what hes getting is lag.Wish he mentioned frametimes or had a graph up while he played.
Granted if you say you noticed better frametimes with less friends then il believe you.Sadly I uninstalled this game months ago because nothing was being done about the issue and honestly cant be bothered to install the game anymore.
Funnily enough paladins also uses Easy anti-cheat lol. What are the chances.I noticed the same spike in 2 games so far.Vermintide 2 and apex which both use Easy anti-cheat.
Coincidence?

Don't forget about Halo MCC 😞 Seriously who do we have to keep bothering to get this fixed?

Apparently I don't have the problem anymore since the new season, fingers crossed.

Still an issue. Out of curiosity are there any AMD GPU users that have this problem? Trying to figure out if it's just limited to NVIDIA GPUs
