apex account got reset

Hello, today when I opened Apex on the Steam platform, I found that my props and levels in my account had been reset. I haven't played Apex for a long time. The last time I opened it was probably in 2023 or earlier. I searched online and found that many people had experienced this situation in April 2024. I tried unbinding my EA account from Steam and logging in again, but it didn't work. Can you help me solve this problem,@EA_Mako

    Hey k1g7c99w3rx6,

    Do you recall roughly when you started playing Apex? I see you mentioned launching the game back in 2023 or earlier - does that mean you played in 2022 or earlier as well, or did this just start in 2023?

    We are not able to manually correct any missing content from that long ago I'm afraid, however we do want to make sure you've re-linked the correct accounts as that could also cause missing content.

    If you played prior to 2023 this may mean the Steam was re-linked to a different EA account. Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. Because of that, if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress. 

    If that was the situation here, we'll need to make sure to get your Steam re-linked to its original EA account where that progress was first unlocked. Please reach out to support so they can help get your platform account back to its original EA account if that's the case.

    Hello, I registered this EA account in 2021 and started playing Apex. I don't have any other accounts, and I can also check the consumption records of recharging Apex under this EA account

    Hey k1g7c99w3rx6,

    If that's the case, I would suggest trying to log into any other emails or accounts you may have used in the past even if you don't use others now.

    If there's one you started in 2021, it would be a different account. The account you're posting from was not created until a couple years later, so it would not have any of that progress from when you originally played.

    But I only have one email and one EA account, and I haven't logged in or used any other email or account. What should I do. Previously, all my progress was on this account, but now it's gone and I don't have any other accounts either!

    Hey k1g7c99w3rx6,

    The EA account you're posting with was not even created at the time you mentioned starting to play. So, there is another account somewhere with that initial progress. 

    If there are any other emails you may have used in the past but no longer have access to, you can contact support so they can try to verify and update the account information with you. If you can remember any other details otherwise, it would be best to speak with support so they can take a closer look.
