Apex connection Issues
Hi! I have been an apex player since season 1 and I have been experiencing a connection problem for the past year. I tried lots of fixes,I can't recall them all, but above all I reinstalled my whole system and keep all drivers up to date. For a couple games its fine, but the longer I play the more it occurs. When the lag happens it's freezing and unfreezing like crazy for a different duration, like 5 to even 30sec, also it shows between 2-5 connection problem symbols and my performance display says that my input and ping spikes to about 400I and 300ms. Every other game runs smoothly at 30ms no issues at all. My pc specs: i5-8300H CPU, RAM 8.00 GB, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, GTX 1050 Ti 4GB (Mobile). I belive it's not on the wifi end, as I have tried lots of different wifis via a cable too, so I started tinkering in my in-game video settings and nvidia apex settings, hoping to find the issue there, but no results. Also tried to run the game on different servers as one of the symbols is server lag and slow connection. I would define the rest of them, but as they changed and introduced new symbols I do not know their meaning. It's hard to capture a screenshot, as it always captures the screen post lag. I have attached my video game settings so you could see them for yourselves. I hope you can help me resolve the issue, so I can enjoy apex again. Hi @Darkes197 Thanks for this, when you have a moment can you try the following steps and let me know if you continue seeing issues?
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Verify any Anti-virus, or other software is not limiting the client and game (try closing out of additional apps then trying to play)
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
If you do keep seeing this pop up, would it be possible to get a DxDiag?
