Apex Cross-Progression Bug?
When I logged in to my steam account after linking my steam and xbox accounts, I was given the prompt at the menu that said that cross progression was available on my account. I was then sent to another screen that loaded for a second before kicking me back to the menu screen. I was then allowed into the game without being prompted to merge any data or accounts and now whenever I log into the game, I only have my steam progress.
Any help?
To confirm the Cross Progression merge is automatic, so you won't select which items or progress to merge manually.
Checking... was the Xbox account previously linked to a different EA account?
If so, progress and items are stored at the EA account level, and unlinking it from its original EA account would not bring over progress. To attempt to recover your items and progress it would need to be linked back to the original EA account.
Another common cause is if the account was linked/played after Oct 26th, as this was the cut-off date for eligible accounts and progress.
