Apex freeze and crash d3d11

Today I've installed the halloween update, and since the first match the game crashes, either in the menu of legends, or during the match at the beginning with a freeze screen and in a instant it closes. I have the optimal settings, with all the drivers updated. I play with an Ryzen 7 2700x Amd processor with 32Gb RAM and a GTX 1660 Ti 6Gb. I've already reinstalled the game and nothing. I don't know what to do, PLEASE HELP ME!!

Do you have any pending Windows updates? I see some Windows specific errors under the Windows Reporting Errors.

Have you tried launching the game after a clean boot? This way we can see if it successfully launches without any programs running in the background. If it doesn't work, I'd recommend running a repair on your Windows.

    Perform in CMD:

    • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
    • afterwards do sfc /scannow

Would you mind uploading a DxDiag for us so we can look at your full system specs? I'm curious if you have any drivers that need to be updated or pending Windows updates. Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates.

Have you tried updating BIOS or adjusting clock rates at all like mentioned in this post?

Some players have been able to avoid this type of crash by disabling Origin In-Game from their Origin client's Application Settings.

  • @JustPatra This started happening to me too since the Oct. 14th client update. My game will occasionally hard freeze during the legend select screen. I have to Alt+Tab and close the application manually in Task Manager (app stopped responding). Never encountered this problem since launch until Monday.
