EAC is a kernel-level anticheat and this new version of it is probably looking for things it doesn't like and then freezes happen.
Has anyone tried disabling CSM support, XMP profile, overclocks, secure boot etc in the bios to see if the freezes still happen?
The people that posted their configs all have Intel CPUs, could this only occur on Intel CPUs?
EDIT:
If you're playing on Steam, try to disable the Steam overlay completely.
yes I deleted my OC configurations But that doesn't change anything
- @extraholic Im almost 100% this is somehow network related. Ive had the exact same issue since Saturday as OP's original post and only today fixed it by switching to wifi from ethernet, also i have a ryzen 5 5600x so not intel specific.
- @SparkyRZA I'm going to try it now via wifi to see what it does!
Didn't work for my mate he just tried it now
Have EA actually replied or anything about this issues. It's annoying just sitting here while we all try and figure out what is going on
