@extraholic Im almost 100% this is somehow network related. Ive had the exact same issue since Saturday as OP's original post and only today fixed it by switching to wifi from ethernet, also i have a ryzen 5 5600x so not intel specific.
@SparkyRZA I'm going to try it now via wifi to see what it does!
@HyRozzFRplease let me know if it worked! Also if it doesnt work on ur home wifi possibly try any other source such as hotspot, goodluck!

- @SparkyRZA I have always used wifi until a week ago I switched to ethernet because my wifi connection was unstable (worn out adapters I guess).
I have disabled the wifi adapters now while still on ethernet. IT WORKS! Thank you heaps mate.
I have done what @UohhhEnthusiast did, which is different to what's working for others. weird...
