Game is jerky, not smooth like it use to be.
Occasionally I have a smooth game, but most games now are like running underwater, rubberbanding, teleporting models, packet dropping, delayed hit register when more than 1 team is on the screen. Makes it a little hard to play....😬
I play on Australian PC Servers, have a 29ms ping at the highest.

I have tried all of the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps and PC-specific steps to no avail.
I sat down at my PC on Saturday night during COVID Lockdown to play my favourite game - Apex Legends. And it was unplayable.
I was getting so much packet loss, the game played like a strobe light.
I tried some other local data centres, but still the same thing. It has been getting worse since the last few game updates.
I am going to give up right now and check back after some updates to see if it has been fixed. Until then I am going to play some other game with less issues.

Can we try changing the DNS settings in Windows to see if that has any effect as well? I've seen some cases where that can help out with some connectivity issues.
You can update the change the DNS in Windows through the TCP/IP Settings. For more information on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. If you select Manual it will let you enter a DNS of your choice. I'd recommend trying 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different open DNS you would rather try instead that's OK as well.

When you have the chance could you try running a UO Trace? That should give us a look at the connection between your home network and the servers, so if there's something happening in between we might be able to spot it.

I'm getting trouble with high-end pc.. Fps drops from 250 to 120 is not fair and game is running choppy. Make sure, freesync and v-sync option is not working.. Still drops 120fps.getting stutter with 144hz monitor. I think there should be work with amd gpu for fix this problem.
@EA_Kent I have attached my UO Traceroute. Not sure why it is dropping packets in 2 places? This is consistent with the message in game.
Community ManagerThose hops that show 100% packet loss are most likely just not reporting the results rather than losing all packets. There is a hop that's dropping 1%, but it looks like this trace was connecting to a server outside of Australia, so some high ping and packet loss isn't unexpected near the end.
Have you been keeping an eye out on your temperatures while Apex Legends is running? Another possible cause for an issue like this is hardware throttling. If your CPU or GPU is running too hot it might be throttling itself to avoid damage, which can cause performance issues.
