Apex Legends Account Reset – No Progress or Items

I logged into Apex Legends recently after being away since around April 2022, and my account was completely reset. It's now level 1 with no progress, no items, and everything is gone.

This was not a new account — I had played for a long time before. I'm very concerned and would really appreciate help recovering my original data.

Has anyone experienced this or knows what to do? Any help from EA support would mean a lot.

Thanks.

  • Bbarryyyy2 Are you logging into the same EA Account, (or the same platform account that's linked to the same EA Account), used to play the game back in April 2022? (I'm asking this because your Apex progress and data is tied to your EA Account).

Furthermore, if any of your accounts had been banned prior to Cross-Progression, those account's progress and data was lost in October 2023 when Cross-Progression was hitting accounts, (as banned accounts were sadly excluded from the Cross-Progression merge).

Yes, I have confirmed the same platform and account many times. I have not played it during this period.

Bbarryyyy2 Since its been a while since you've last played, does your EA Account say its linked to a "@disabled.ea.com" email when you signed into your EA Account using your platform account?

If it does, you would need to contact EA Support about changing the email back to its original email address.

However, if you cannot sign into your EA Account by using your platform account as the login method, (except with your Switch Account, as there's no Nintendo login option), then its possible that your platform account had been unlinked from your EA Account.

You would need to either sign in using your EA Account, (or by signing in with another linked platform account), and check to see if the platform account in question is still linked to your EA Account, (which the settings page to check your linked platform accounts can be found here).

If you cannot sign into your EA Account or your platform account is linked to the wrong EA Account, (and you're unable to switch it back), you would need to contact EA Support.

My account email are no problem so long did not play I also logged on to check my associated account platform steam, EA, etc. are normal, I also contacted ea's online customer service I told them that my account is lost they are very rude just asked me the last time I played when is the time, etc., and then said that he did not have the means to directly end my chat, I am very disappointed the last way! I was very disappointed and the last thing I did was post my problem here. ea online customer service doesn't care that my account that I played for close to a thousand hours is now at level 1!
