Hey There,
Been enjoying the game so far alot but as per a few other posts I am getting random crashes which cause the game to completely freeze to a black screen, I am able to open task manager and see that I get the below error and it is always the same.
I have included my DxDiag report as an attachment as well.
I thought this maybe card or driver related so I tried updating the Nvidia drivers but no luck and I just done a complete format of my PC and still no luck sadly.
Also on top of this I get crashes to Desktop, no errors no freezing just straight to my desktop in the middle of a game ☹️ Very frustrating!

I have this same problem, no error codes or anything, I think I did get some logs on Event Viewer though and some application crash dump file or something. Is there way to provide this info to EA privately?
I just fixed my problem (had same issue)
I've "downlock" my gpu in MSI afterburned (just setted 50% Power limit)
I just got this type of crash. No error code or pop up, no freezing, no crash report software starting up. As far as I'm concerned, there's no way for me to know what exactly happened to crash the game -- it just closes and goes straight to desktop in the middle of the game. No idea what triggers it, if there is a specific trigger, and the crash just happens randomly; the only constant is that the few times it has occurred it's always been in games where my team and I are communicating well and have a good position and strategy. 😳 Huge pain in the *.

When I try loading the game I get the error "The instruction at 0xe2019414 referenced memory at 0x412843a0. The memory could not be read."
I have the same problem and I want to play. ☹️

yeah i get the exact same thing no particular reason as far as i can tell can be the start of a match or half way through or even main menu , randomly stops on origin and instant crash
Following this guide using 15 seconds has had me stable for a while:
Soo when i start the game it goes to the lobby with the character everything and then everytime random 0x problem and crashing to the desktop,someone with the same problem??

No, the problem is that they're really incompetent at not making things break. The hardware isn't the issue-- it's the coding.

Straight to the point - the game crashes to desktop all the time in different occasions with different errors. For example :
- when i try to change some settings
- when i try to get in a game or training
- when people invite me to party
- and sometimes immediately after the game loads
After one of the crashes i was literally shocked what happened to my PC : somehow my DESKTOP WALLPAPER was changed to solid black, PC went slow and couldn't display my BOTH drives ( C: and D: ) while they were both accessible, just not displaying?!?!?! After a reboot both drives were visible.
My PC Specs:
- CPU : Intel core i5-4570 @3.2Ghz
- GPU : Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB
- RAM : 8GB
- Windows 10
And here are some of the errors that i got:
1. QtWebEngineProcess.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x000000006D80F896 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000000. The memory could not be written.
2. Engine Error
CreateTexture2D Failed to create texture _rt_updateddepth#0#1 with HRESULT 0x8007000e:

3. Origin.exe - Application Error

I really hope those crash issues to be solved so we can enjoy the game!

Its the same with me start the game load into lobby and then crashing into the desktop and everytime random 0x error
- same problem with second error many times on better PC
The title is fairly self explanatory. Apex Legends crashes with Error status 0xc000007f.
The full message is "The instruction at 0x00007FFED30A20A9 referenced a memory at 0x00000027C39AC0000. The required data was not placed into the memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc000007f. Click on OK to terminate the program"
The game is playable for short periods of time, I can load to the menu, interact with the UI, and even make it into a game. I can tweak settings, play games, finish games, etc but at various times the game will crash with this error. It's consistent enough that I haven't been able to exit the game normally yet, every closure is due to a crash.
I've tried checking for updates and repairing in origin, neither have worked thus far.
Specs are intel core i7-4770k, Nvidia GeforceGTX980ti, and 16GB of RAM clocked at 1867 MHz

FWIW, I was running the game with max graphics settings. I will need more information so that I can file a bug and ask our software team look into this. Users seeing DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error while playing Apex Legends, please answer the following:
1) How long does it take for error to appear ( how many rounds of gameplay)?
2) Can you email me screenshots of your in game graphics settings used?

I'm getting all kinds of Engine Errors mid-game, what's going on? People seem to be streaming for hours with no issues....

SLI and most modern games don't play well together, one of your 4x GTX 980 can easily handle the game, I'd give that a try if someone hasn't yet suggested that.

My game freezes after opening it and pressing continue with a black screen and a loading symbol right bottom corner. I can't do anything on windows at this situation and my computer's fans goes crazy. After a while if i don't close the computer myself with power button, i get a blue screen. Here what i tried:
I reinstalled the game 2 times.
I reinstalled the origin.
I repaired anti-cheat.
I reinstalled anti-cheat.
I tried another language to start it.
I put a launcher option to start it windowed.

i already try to unistall and install easy anti cheat and nothen...
