Apex Legends crashes shortly after entering the lobby with no error message
Hello,
I have been experiencing random crashes in Apex Legends. The game often crashes shortly after I enter the lobby. There is no error message or error code; the game simply closes by itself.
The crash does not happen every time. Sometimes I can play normally, but even when I can finish a match, the game may crash when I return to the lobby without queuing for another match.
I also noticed that reinstalling Apex temporarily fixed the problem. After reinstalling, I was able to play normally for about a full day, but the crashes eventually came back.
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- Verified the game files
- Deleted the Apex cache
- Completely reinstalled Apex Legends
- Updated and changed my AMD GPU driver versions
- Updated/changed the AMD Software version
- Disabled the MSI Afterburner overlay
- Added Apex Legends and Easy Anti-Cheat to the Windows Defender Firewall allowed list
- Tried launching Apex through both Steam and the EA app
- Checked Windows Event Viewer, but I could not find any useful crash information
The crash happens regardless of whether I launch the game through Steam or the EA app.
My PC specifications are:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
- RAM: 32 GB
- OS: Windows 11
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me identify what might be causing these crashes. Since there is no error message and the game sometimes works normally, it has been difficult to determine what is causing the problem.
Thank you.
