I had same problem with Anno 1800 beta test. UBI patched game in 1 day. Let's see how EA will react :-)
955 in terms of processing power should run game like this with no problems. Other games have no problems.
Similar to the OP, i am not AMD, and am having the same issues. Game crashes between 2 minutes and 20 minutes into a battle for me, for the last 6 or so matches.

yeah, for me it seemed like it was every 3 matches but as time went on, it was about every 20 minutes. Almost like a memory leak or something.
I have the same problem with my AMD Phenom II X4 955 at Apex Legends
i have amd phenom x6 1055t gtx 1050ti 16 gb of ram game crashing without error loading to battle
you cannot run a phenom x6. The processor is sse3 not ssse3. As far as i understand, a lot of motherboards which could support SSSE3 and phenom series processors never went past beta phase. even getting a processor may not work with the mother board and likely you'll need to update both.
i got phenom 1055t, r9 270 and 10 gigs of ram... it crashes when i enter training
