Forum Discussion
Overall, my point is I think that it's the companies job to fix tbh. However, it might not be and might be a very specific problem. I have no idea, but we have to wait until a solution comes out either from the game company or from somebody else in the community.
(SOLVED)?
Hi Guys, I have experienced the very same problem. I think I probably solved it (for myself at least)
(I'm running WIN 10 x64 on iMac 27" 2017 5k, AMD Pro 570 4GB, 8GB RAM.)
I tried all these suggestions above but nothing seemed to work. Then I got so pissed off that I tried the most stupid things that came across my mind. I have a 5K screen but in Windows I was running a resolution 2560x1440 because I could not even look at that interface.
BUT
Few hours ago I reset the WIN UI resolution to full (5120x2880) and I changed just the game's resolution to 2560x1440. I've set a 4GB VRAM in the game settings and the game is now working perfectly. I'm playing almost for 2 hours now without any crash.
YES OF COURSE I also did these before: Set the game settings to minimum, uninstall Origin and reinstall it, repair the game, run the game as an administrator with a WIN7 compatibility. I also shut down all other apps like Dicord, Steam, (even from background) Roll back the driver etc. nothing worked.
I know it sounds crazy and mental but I guess that just the resolution-chang caused the game to work properly. Now it works on Ultra video settings. Teamspeak and Discord work as well. simultaneously.
HAPPY!
Hope this crazy idea helps you a bit.

Can anyone else confirm positive results from this?
- 7 years agoNo positive results.
- 7 years agoHad some FPS problems in that resolution aswell, would be nice if I could play on the recommended settings for my computer so I can run the game smoothly.

no it didn't work for me
- 7 years agoI change my games resolution a couple different times and one of them has lasted longer than usual but no it doesn't work for me.
- 7 years agoBah, as the community manager said, run CCleaner, it will work... lol
- 7 years agoHow can i set 4GB VRAM ?

Love seeing the generic "Run cc cleaner" from a community manager slapped on every post in here, you guys know there is a problem and running cc cleaner Isn't the solution. Maybe next you can tell us all to "Download more RAM". I have new hardware coming in by the end of the week, going from a amd 6300 to an i9 with new mobo and more RAM (no i didn't upgrade b/c i wanted to play this game), I'll keep you all posted if that suddenly fixes my "Disconnection errors".
