Apex Legends FPS is Locked at 15-20!!

I have a 2080TI as GPU and a i7-9900KF as CPU, Im used to play apex legends with 190 FPS, now im stuck at 19 fps in game, I uninstalled and reinstaled through Origin twice, and also through Steam, Both of them I start the game with 60 fps and in a secound it drops to 10-20 fps.

Seems to be locked by something. Currently i can play other games with ultra high setting and ultra Raytracing at 100 FPS; and a benchmar programe showed no performance problem from the pc.

Also in the main menu I dont see any fps problems, its only in the game!

I also dont use any anti viruses besides windows defender and the Apex folder in in the esxclusions!

It started a week ago and I can't find any solutions! please help!

    So it turned out my friend had an app called citrix downloaded on his computer for school. That app was capping the game for some weird reason. Uninstalled it and he jumped to 200fps playing just fine now. Thank you for your help!

    @Ashkan_CF0 Others have had similar issues. I'd advice you to downgrade your Nvidia drivers to a few versions ago and see if it solves your problem.

    Did you ever figure out the issue? I have a friend with a decent pc and is stuck with 10-20 fps. He plays warzone just fine so not sure what it could be.

    Hey, @Trillhelm @Ashkan_CF0 @Godisbullen  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with APEX and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

    Have you tried running APEX as Admin?

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
