Apex legends progress reset due to linking of accounts

Nobody is trying to scam you. There is a warning when unlinking accounts saying you will lose all progress and content. Normally, re-linking the same account will return it all. Support can look into this for you.

Yo ik I'm late but I just logged onto apex after like 8 months - a year and all my stuff is gone? However I'm still in the same clan. Is there anyway to fix it?

Hey, I just wanted to know if there is any way to get my paid currency refunded if I lost my account details? I unlinked and relinked my steam to another EA account to play battlefield with my friend and then I lost all of my apex progress. Also, is it possible that the team could make the warning more obvious and attention grabbing so cases like mine do not happen in the future? Thanks, have a good day.

And can you clarify that linking back to my original Ea account which my steam account was originally linked to will return my stuff? Even though I have to wait 6 months? Thanks.

Relinking the original account will return your content and progress. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, you'll need to wait 6 months to make that change.
