I performed clean boot and it did not help. Yes, the installs are on the same one.

4 years ago@MrMayhemBeast If you try uninstalling both versions, then just install the Steam version, does that have an effect?
I'm also curious, you mention using a new PC, did you use the same HDD in the new build, or is it an entirely new system?

That does not help either because I tried on Steam before realizing it works on Origin. It is an entirely new system.

Thanks. It's a bit of a swing, but perhaps Steam and Apex use some obscure WIndows file that Origin doesn't use.If you run the Windows System File Checker, you can double check for any damaged or invalid Windows Files. It's worth doing periodically anyway. - 4 years ago
Everything is fine when I run SFC. Did not help.

If you create a new Windows user profile does that have an impact?
