too late for me. just finished swapping over to steam. never have to deal it again. later EA App.
I have found a method that worked for me.
1. Clear EA cache
To do this go to the three lines in the top left of the EA app, hover over help, then click app recovery. You should then see a clear cache button. Click it.
2. Once the EA app restarts do what step one says except instead of clicking app recovery click restart app.
3. Repair the game.
To repair the game click manage on the game and click repair. This will also install the update.
Doing a update on Apex Legends, it updates but than says it needs to do a update won't let me update the game
Yeah, completely screwed up my windows as well..
Windows tried to update framework drivers, then had a whole host of issues...all from one update that failed..accountability please...
