Apex stuck at loading screen infinitely
It started 8/4; I was able to play on July 31st but when I click on play from the Steam Library, it goes to the endlessly spinning loading screen. I have tried:
1. verifying the integrity of the game,
2.uninstalling and reinstalling,
3.installing and launching from the EA launcher.
4.I created a new steam and EA account.
5. I don't have any USB device in my PC other than my PC/Keyboard.
6. I have tried running the game as Administrator.
7. I have updated everything I can in windows.
8. I updated my NVIDIA graphics drivers, then reverted them then updated again with a clean install.
9. I have 300GB free on my SSD
10. I've tried clearing %temp% and %localappdata%
11. I was able to download Apex on my steam deck and load into my main account.
12. I ipconfig /flushdns and all the relevant commands there.
13. I changed my DNS server from Cloudflare to Google.
14. I ran a Powershell DISM /Restorehealth command
15. I tried launching the game with -cl_forcedpreload and -high
There's been no hardware changes to my PC, the only changes made have been the updates to the graphics driver to try and get this to work. I refused to reset my PC just for one game to work. I shouldn't have to scorched earth my PC just to play Apex Legends. The only thing I can think of is that it's not properly downloading the shaders like it used to and now gets hungup at the loading screen. I have 780 Hours in game and it's all work perfectly until August 4th, 2024. Any help from Apex support would be appreciated since a new season just dropped and I've been struggling for 3 days.
Do you happen to have a PiHole running on your network? I had this issue and fixed it by whitelisting everything related to amazontrust in blocked queries.
