Black Screen Apex
Hi All, i have downloaded Apex and for a while I was getting a engine error (check my profile and you can see what Im talking about). I have since fixed that issue by going into the registry editor or whatever. Any ways, my pc was fine for like a week or so. But now again, my pc is just randomly black screening so the only thing I can do is hold my power button and restart the pc. I cant hear any errors but can still sometimes hear audio from the game or discord, etc. This has been going on since, but usually it take two or 3 restarts for Apex to let me play a couple games, however recently I cannot play a single game of Apex, no matter how many times I restart my pc. ( When i play other games it sometimes blacks out, but not as much as Apex).
I have done clean driver installs, I used driver booster(premium) and installed/updated all that, i did a clean refresh on my pc( where it gets rid of all the apps and * but keeps the 'personal files' or whatever). I saw that YourSmexyMum had the same problem and they said they're fix was that their gpu was overclocked (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Apex-causes-a-black-screen-PC/td-p/8636624). My gpu is not overclocked or anything. I have to get a USB so I can update my BIOS. I have attached a DxDiagnostic file cause I saw that was needed from the other post. From there you can also see my specs for my pc. I've had the pc for 7 or so months and this has never happened before I downloaded Apex. So I'm not sure what else to do (except for the bios update).
